Pymetrozine is a new insecticide, highly active and specific against sucking insect pests.Pymetrozine is the only representative of the pyridine azomethines, a new class of insecticides, and is currently being developed worldwide for control of aphids and whiteflies in field crops, vegetables, ornamentals, cotton, hop, deciduous fruit, and citrus, and of the brown planthopper, Nilaparvata lugens (Staol), in rice. The compound have great promise in integrated pest management (IPM) programs due to its high degree of selectivity, low mammalian toxicity, and safety to birds, fish, and nontarget arthropods.

Pymetrozine belongs to the class of pyridine or triazinone insecticides. It is a brand new non-biocide insecticide. This product exhibits excellent control effects on piercing-sucking mouthparts of various crops. Pymetrozine has a contact effect on pests and also has systemic activity. It can be conducted in the xylem and phloem in plants; therefore, it can be used as a foliar spray or soil treatment. Due to its good transport properties, the newly grown branches and leaves can also be effectively protected after spraying the stems and leaves.

When using this product, wear protective clothing and gloves, masks to avoid inhalation of liquid medicine, do not eat or drink while drinking. After application, wash hands and face, and clean the skin of exposed parts in a timely manner, be sensitive to silkworms, and avoid use around silkworm and mulberry areas. Pregnant women, lactating women and allergies are prohibited. Please consult a doctor if there are any adverse reactions during use.
